Jamie Colby

Colby is an anchor, National News Correspondent, and Anchor at Fox News. He has been working for the company since July 2003. Prior to becoming a part of FOX News Channel, Colby worked as a correspondent at CNN and served as an anchor and reporter for CBS News as well as a anchors filling in of CBS' Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby has been admitted for legal practice to practice law in New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. She has received such honors as the Edward R. Murrow National Award in 2002 for her reporting on the September 11 terrorist attacks; Gracie Award for investigative reporting in 2000 and her Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week also named her one of the "Rising News Star To Be Watching". Colby was an attorney, who aside from her profession as a journalist, also worked for 10 years as a private practitioner. Colby's law firm began when she was a Hollywood production firm assigned her to The Tonight Show. She was working with Johnny Carson at the age of 22 during both his contract renewal as well as divorce from NBC.
